Henrietta Royle

Henrietta Is Chairman of Cotswold Assistance (trading as W J Wright), a Trustee of the Share Foundation (runs all Junior ISAs and Child Trust Funds for all children in long term care in the UK) and is a very part time CEO of the British Bankers Association (BBA). She is also an executive coach and entrepreneur. Between 2019 and 2022, she was Group CEO of the Operis Group, the largest independent project finance advisory and modelling business globally.

Between 2014 and 2017, she was COO of the BBA, responsible for all day-to-day management and commercial activities. Following the merger of the lobbying activities and sale of the commercial businesses, with and to, UK Finance in 2017, she became CEO, with responsibility for the remaining long tail liabilities, which included a defined benefit pension scheme (now bought out) and the LIBOR litigation in the US and US.

Between 2011 and 2014, she worked as a coach, strategic consultant and Board Effectiveness reviewer. She was COO of City University 2008-11, following 6 years as COO of Cass Business School. Henrietta started her career as an investment banker. She was educated at Cambridge, LBS and HBS. Henrietta is an Ambassador for the 30% Club. She is married and her interests include fashion, backgammon, food, art and bridge. Henrietta was listed in the 2012 Women-to-Watch.
