Capital Markets Funding

There are a number of routes that companies and charities can access the capital markets.

While generally institutional investors want to invest in very large bond issues (£250 million or more), a substantial number, particularly those with an ethical focus, will participate in smaller offerings.

This includes Corporate Bonds, ORB listed bonds and RCBs:

Corporate bonds

For borrowers looking to raise debt in larger size (typically £100 million and up).

Corporate bonds

ORB listed bonds

The ORB (Order book for Retail Bonds) is generally for those seeking £25-£100 million or more of medium-term funding.

ORB listed bonds

RCB

For charities who are looking to raise £10 million or more of unsecured finance on the London Stock Exchange.
